It's that time of year when the County Assessor's office sends out property tax valuations to homeowners in Colorado.

Colorado law requires a new valuation every two years to ensure that property taxes remain current with the cost of residences. It's important to remember that property taxes fund a variety of services that we all rely on, from schools and roads to government operations, infrastructure, libraries, snow removal, police and fire, and other essential services.
